Ok I know this is a sit com but lets willingly let go of reality for a moment. The Mosquitos claim from ONE song from the Honey bees that they are too good and that there is too much competition. IF....they had rescued the castaways do you realize how much publicity it would have brought them? Mosquitos albums would be selling off the shelfs. They'd be in every newspaper and on the National News as heros. If they thought the Honey Bees were so good they could go on a double bill with them and sell millions. If they had though it through, they would have cashed in MILLIONS as the Minnow Saviors. As it is, if I were the Minnow survivors and got rescued I'd hunt Bingo bongo Bango and Irving down and get medevel on their ass and torture the hell out of them. I'm sure Mr. Howell could pay for some good hit men. What a bunch of stupid who missed out on a great opportunity

Did you know that the tune to the Honeybees' song was also used on an episode of Perry Mason? It's in a night club setting.

Also used in the same episode of PM was the tune without lyrics we first hear before the castaways encounter the Mosquitos.

But they were an amazing band, they managed to get 4 members their equipment months worth of food,food storage and preparation equipment, medical supplies(I'm assuming), clothes, and many other items all in a two seater helicopter.
