Memories from the Set: Seth Gabel on "Law & Order: SVU"
The entire time he'd lived in New York, Gabel had auditioned unsuccessfully to be on "Law & Order". But it wasn't until he moved to L..A. that he got the call to be on the show.
"It really bothered me, because everyone in New York had done a Law & Order," he recalls. "It felt like I was one of the only people that hadn't. It was the last straw of validation that I needed to really feel complete in leaving New York, so it felt great going back and doing SVU."
