I'm looking for the alternative version of the Dark Skies pilot.
If i'm right, it aired only once on Channel 4 in the UK and, minus commercials, runs about 92 minutes long. If someone can help me out please drop me a message or an email!

Hi, uk-er here. Are you sure about your info? I followed the series back in the day and as far as I know all we got was the first two episodes edited together. If fact we got less than that as they cut scenes out to make it fit their time-slot and the number of ads they wanted.

US shows were treated very badly back then by UK channels. They treated all sci-fi as kids shows and put them on at 6pm, then cut stuff out that wasn't suitable for that time of day. One channel even jumped from season 1 straight to season 3 of Seaquest missing out season 2! They told me they thought season 3 was better and would get more viewers! Thank gaia for the internet and downloading shows the day after they air!!

Apparently this cut included alternate versions of scenes which were later reshot to introduce the series better? If it doesn't exist then great, less trouble for me to search but if it does I'd love to find a copy somewhere
