With reference to 5x21 Vivian's Surprise:

The episode required the identical twin brothers Arthur Harmon & Arnold Harmon to be indistinguishable from each other, so I think that Conrad Bain played both roles throughout the episode ... except for the final scene in which the twin brothers appear together.

You could tell, 'cos in the final scene, Arnold Harmon (Bonar Bain) somehow looks a little younger than his brother, and his voice is different too (which, I suppose, is why he says as little as possible during that scene too).

What do you guys think? ... :snowman3:

You indeed are correct. Bonar Bain was not an actor. Conrad played both characters up until the big reveal.

How do you figure? Not being funny, I promise! I am just intrigued with this finding. Now, I want to see the episode. ;)

They were twins, but they were distinct-looking enough to be able to tell that it was not Bonar in the earlier scenes.
