372 pages of details of Gilligan's Island. This is an awesome book. It has a section of each episode and comments on each. On page 156, they comment on "Diamonds Are An Apes Best Friend". This is the episode where a gorilla takes Mrs. Howell's brooch. He then takes her and the castaways find that the gorilla had taken her to a cave. So, on page 156, one of the comments read:

"We never learn if the castaways ever find the brooch."

So, here is a screen caption of Lovey in the cave with the gorilla. She is holding the brooch that the gorilla took.

I find this so amazing, because The Unofficial Gilligan's Island Handbook is such an amazing and detailed book that I feel honored to be able to catch a small insight that they missed.

LMAO. Isn't that amazing? Right in front of their face all along.

There is another error in the book. They have "Gilligan vs. Gilligan" as the start of season three, but it is really "Up At Bat"

I once read that it's a common practice for trivia and information books to intentionally slip in a false fact here and there for the purposes of seeing if anyone has taken information from them for publication without giving them proper credit or consideration. That way if the false fact turns up, they know from where it was taken.

This doesn't necessarily explain the errors identified here, but the possibility does exist.
