I bought it as a blind buy from a flea market not too long ago w/o knowing what it was about. I got it because it was an Angelina Jolie film that I haven't seen.

It's an independent movie that depicts the 1989 murder of Michael Francke, who was the Director of the Oregon Department of Corrections.

It is alleged that he was murdered after he was planning on exposing a drug ring circuit involving his colleagues.

The film's screenplay was written by The Oregonian columnist Phil Stanford who believed in the drug ring conspiracy. He and Kevin Francke (Michael's younger brother) worked together on trying to expose it.

The film ended w/ a $1 million reward for information leading to the conviction and sentencing of the murderer(s) of Michael Francke as they believed that the person convicted of the crime (Frank Gable) was innocent.

I was just curious to see if others have seen it since this story was featured on "Unsolved Mysteries".

What did you think of it?

Haven't seen it yet, but I do have an episode of Investigative Reports (hosted by Bill Kurtis) about the New Mexico prison riot I've been meaning to watch. Michael Francke had reformed the New Mexico prison system after the riot had left in bad shape.

Oh man...that episode is difficult to watch. I don't think I could watch it again.
