Is the quality good? Ron Ron 11-13-2014, 03:50 PM I bought 1&2 from them and thought the individual seasons would continue but didn't…I want to pick up the entire series as it would still come out to 9 dollars a season. Crusinforabrusin 01-18-2016, 08:21 PM anyone buy this set yet? Is the quality good? Let's just say, the quality is Mediocre. And each DVD comes in slip in packages. There are 16 DVDs total. Mill Creek also decided that more episodes on a disk is better because on one of the disks, there are 13 episodes on 1 disk!! So I would recommend buying the DVDs separately, unless you want the series quickly and cheaply in which case, by the complete series OH Nuts! 01-21-2016, 07:42 AM Let's just say, the quality is Mediocre. I hate sets were there's recording on both sides. When you say mediocre, what exactly was off on this set- cut eps, blurring etc. I hear that Antenna plans to air WINGS this year and my library has the first six seasons. So if the only thing wrong with Mill Creek is no bonus material I may buy it. Otherwise I may just wait for Antenna and record from that. The episodes just seem a bit blurry but other than that, there's no other problems Svenfan1234 04-25-2016, 01:13 PM I really want this set. I'm planning on buying it this summer. We also have Netflix so I'll probably check out a few eps there but I'm the kind of person where I'm no longer trying to be dependent on Netflix and actually buy my shows on DVD. I have Cheers, The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Twilight Zone already but I'm planning on buying Wings and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on DVD this summer as well. OH Nuts! 02-27-2019, 11:40 PM I had some trepidation about buying this set....that the discs were going to be double-sided...like the Rebs seasons I bought. But they weren’t; yahoo and bravo to amill Creek for a very nifty set....the best $30 I’ve ever spent! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Mill Creek set. |
