Anyone remember the case of a woman on a canoeing trip with her young son when she realized two other men in a canoe were stalking her? The men eventually raped her on the canoe trip. I remember being so disgusted by these men and wondered if anyone else remembered the case or knew if it was solved?

A few years ago, a poster here found a blog that briefly mentioned this case and the possibility that it may have been a hoax. Apparently this woman had a history of attention seeking behavior. Although, in all fairness, it was apparent that whoever wrote the blog had some sort of an ax to grind with this woman. So, who knows?

Thanks guys! I have no idea why someone would make such a thing up but hey stranger things have happened.

Maybe the guy who wrote the blog was the rapist? Or maybe she was just a crazy woman seeking attention and it rubbed someone the wrong way.

It said her son was there and witnessed the whole thing. I wonder what he has to say about it. He's probably an adult by now.

Well, I did some research and found the blog from that other post you were talking about Justin. It's keepitrealteresa.blogspot.com. And yikes, you were right. The guy who made it really doesn't like her! I saw where it mentioned her lying on unsolved mysteries and now I don't know the truth. Apparently she had another child that died of cancer.
