Hey,

This is Justin Waller. I was wondering, Why did they take
Baby Richie, played by Joseph,Julius Wright off the show, and replace him with Bryton McClure as little Richie doing the second season? I just don't get why they had him on the first season show as a baby,and the second season as a
three year old little boy.

It is comon in sitcoms for babies to suddenly be several years older the next season. This also happened on Family Ties, Growing Pains, Step by Step, & the Fresh Prince of Belaire.
