I had a really interesting though. What ever happened to the original Different Strokes Television Set? You know all of the stuff including those massive huge Stairs, Mr. Drummond's Study, The Boys Room, Then Den, Kitchen, The Balcony, Everything. What do you think happened? Where is all of that stuff now? I would really love to know. Also did they ever show Kimberly's room in the show?

Thank you for your reply. That is really amazing I had no idea sets could be so flimsy. If in fact it still is alive today, the original set could be used for a Different Strokes reunion if one ever happened. I also wonder if someone can buy thet set if nothing is going to be done with it.

Most of the time, after a show is cancelled, the set is demolished. There are a few exceptions, namely "Cheers." The set for that show is currently at the Museum Of Television and Radio. I'm pretty sure the "I Love Lucy" set stayed intact, too.

I remember seeing the "Seinfeld" set all torn up. THAT was an incredibly sad sight.

Maybe if there is a prop like a telehone it is ued for another show.

The set for the living room in the last season looked really different to it did early on.
