I wonder why "Homer Bedloe" didn't appear in this episode? It was the episode about retiring the Cannonball (Floyd retired.) Homer Bedloe was in the first episode, and this was close to the final one. Parley Bear is the C&F Railroad "representative." It just wasn't the same without mean Homer.:(

The last episode in which Bedloe appeared (A Cake From Granny) was a sort of farewell to his character and it ends with him making peace with the folks in Hooterville, saying something about being glad everybody's on the same side now.
