Zach Galligan is one of those people that never seems to age.
On the Hatchet III commentary Adam Green said that Galligan came over to Green's house to watch Gremlins, and gave Adam and his wife a live running commentary.

^ Little off topic, but how was Hatchet III?
I plan on watching 1 and 2 again when I get around to picking 3 up.

I thought it was as fun as the first two. I like how the sequels pick right up where the previous left off.

Yeah, I heard good things about Part III and I will get to it soon.
Do you know why Danielle Harris replaced Tamera Feldman as Marybeth?

From what it sounded like Green and Feldman had very different ideas on where her character should go in the sequel. Green had the sequel planned out even before he made the first.
Danielle Harris auditioned for the role in the first Hatchet, but Green decided to go with an unknown since he already had multiple horror icons cast. When he realized Feldman wasn't going to work out in Part II, he got in touch with Harris.

And it's definitely a good idea to watch the first 2 again before III as it makes a lot of references to them.
