TNN really should change its name !!!
True they did not long ago ( well the "N" from Nashville to National )but a lot of people still think of TNN as the Nashville Network, in fact my hometown's newspaper still has TNN listed not only as The Nashville Network but its classified still as " a country music channel ". Makes me wonder how many viewers out there are still looking for Crook & Chase, Nashville Now, or the latest Alan Jackson video to pop up on TNN?
Judging by their programming, they should call it
The Star Trek Next Generation Channel (STNG).
Not that I'm complaining... I love Star Trek.

Changing the name from The Nashville Network to the National Network I always thought to be kinda stupid. Keeping the letters TNN would have been fine if Nashville and National aired the same kind of programs but National Network is a lot different with its programs when one looks back at the "old" TNN offered.
I can see viewers "confused" as to why they no longer see Fandango or Trisha Yearwood belting out "She's in Love with the Boy" instead they get The Rock , Star Trek, and Diff'rent Strokes reruns if some TV Guides out there still refer TNN as Nashville Network.
Viacom should re-name TNN, TV Land Action, put all the action shows on there with some sci-fi mixed in. And leave the westerns and of course Sitcoms on TV Land.

Considering the type of programming they have these days, they should keep the initials "TNN" and call it "The Nothing NetworK".

Since it's the new TNN, it should be The New Network...lol...
TTAN - for "Try Try Again Network".
