When I was a kid I would sometimes get motion sickness but that's been a long time ago.

My Niece has to sit in the front seat of a car or else she starts feeling icky.

Never having had motion sickness I know that people would attach a metal chain to the car bumper so it would drag on the pavement. This was supposed to prevent someone from having motion sickness. Has anybody ever heard of this method and does it work?

I suffered from motion sickness from the time I was a toddler until I was 15. Cars, boats, the school bus (ESPECIALLY the school bus, although I thankfully never threw up on the bus -- that would have really sucked) and even one time on a merry-go-round.

Then when I was 15 I got surgery to remove my tonsils, and my motion sickness went away forever -- like magic!
