What an unusual plot for a sitcom. Not too many sitcoms deal with a horse getting killed. But I have to admit, I thought it was fairly funny. The fake tweety bird flying out the window was kind of corny, but that added to the humor. Definitely the kind of thing they couldn't put on a sitcom these days because the audience couldn't get past the horse dying part.

But it's one of the reasons why Season 4 is my favorite season of Rhoda. Just a lot of unusual ideas. I went through the list of shows and I would say I outright love over half the episodes and like most of the remainder.

And I tell you, Ramon Diaz (Rafael Campos) really did make a difference on the show. For a guy that only gets maybe two lines in an episode, he sure got some memorable ones that make me laugh out loud.
