View Full Version : Video of changing apartment decor
JackJanetChrissy 06-19-2014, 02:23 AM Maybe some of you have seen this, but I just thought this was awesome:
Go to: catherineross DOT net
Click on Ex_Episode on the left. (sorry, just joined the boards so i can't post links apparently.)
(You need Quicktime to play.) I've always been obsessed with the apartment and its ever-changing decor throughout the seasons....this artist put it all together. I still have yet to catch everything.
JackJanetChrissy 06-20-2014, 07:21 AM Here is link:

This person also has a video called "Trilling" that uses the gestures of people in Three's Company. Hey, it's art!
Lyverbe 06-23-2014, 07:14 AM Quicktime? Everyone has been putting everything on YouTube for years. Ah well, too bad.
JackJanetChrissy 06-23-2014, 08:34 PM Probably couldn't put it on YouTube for fear of copyright infringement.
Dude111 07-06-2014, 09:41 PM Anyone have the direct link to the video??
I tried looking for .mov but it isnt there!! (Nothing plays when I goto the page (I DONT HAVE QT BUT WITH THE DIRECT LINK I COULD VIEW IT WITH VLC))
Thanx :)
JackJanetChrissy 07-07-2014, 03:53 AM http://www.catherineross.net/EX_EPISODE_Video.html
Here you go...enjoy! QT is a quick download in case the VLC doesn't work.
Dude111 07-07-2014, 10:41 PM Thats NOT THE DIRECT LINK :( (I had that and nothing plays)
I tried looking for a MOV file or a MP4 file in the script but I cant find one!
Ah well :(
JackJanetChrissy 07-09-2014, 06:04 AM Uh YES IT IS a direct link. The problem is that you need Quicktime, which you can download for free. Until I downloaded the Quicktime player, I could not view it either and nothing played.
Sorry I mentioned it, geez. Didn't know downloading a free program was such a problem for everyone.
Lyverbe 07-09-2014, 08:46 AM Downloading a free program isn't the issue. Installing crap such as QT is :)
JackJanetChrissy 07-09-2014, 12:06 PM Well guess what, it can be uninstalled.
Dude111 07-09-2014, 04:51 PM Uh YES IT IS a direct link. The problem is that you need Quicktime, which you can download for free.I dont mean to sound mean but ill try to explain it to you..
The link you gave IS NOT A LINK DIRECTLY TO THE FILE THAT PLAYS!! (Its embedded on that page)
This is a direct link: http://web.archive.org/web/20000916210131/http://breadsite.org/music/angelful.mp3 (Notice the .mp3 @ the end)
Notice how it opens DIRECTLY IN YOUR MEDIA PLAYER :)
Just wanted to help ya JackJanet,i dont think you knew what I meant..
JackJanetChrissy 07-09-2014, 08:57 PM WHEN YOU USE ALL CAPS IT MEANS YOU ARE SHOUTING. And when i type that link (the exepisodevideo one I gave above) the video does automatically start playing for me, so I figured it was a "direct link".....I'm not a tech nerd so to me if a link gets you where you're going then it's pretty direct.
Btw when i click on your link I get a blank screen asking to activate a plugin so maybe this media exchange is jinxed.
Dude111 07-09-2014, 11:44 PM Sorry about that....
Yes its an MP3 stream so it wants to open either WMP or whatever player you have on your computer to play it :) (Whatever you have that plays MP3)
Lyverbe 07-10-2014, 07:05 AM For those who do not have QT (and don't wish to install all of its crap that won't be removed when you uninstall), you can use this *direct* link: http://www.catherineross.net/videos/ex_episode_web.mov
It will offer you to save it on your computer. From there, you can open it using another application that supports .MOV files such as Windows Media Player.
JackJanetChrissy 07-10-2014, 01:18 PM Awesome, thanks! It's a neat little video and I'm glad people can view it one way or another....
Dude111 07-11-2014, 03:51 AM For those who do not have QT (and don't wish to install all of its crap that won't be removed when you uninstall), you can use this *direct* link: http://www.catherineross.net/videos/ex_episode_web.movGRACIOUS!!!!!!

How did you find it?? I SEARCHED THE SOURCE AND NOTHING!!!!!!!
Using Chrome, you right-click the "Plug-in missing" window (the one with the puzzle piece in the middle) and select "Inspect element". It gives you the direct link.
Merci Beaucoup :)
Don't pronouce the 'p' like Chrissy does ;)
Dude111 07-14-2014, 01:33 AM Using Chrome, you right-click the "Plug-in missing" window (the one with the puzzle piece in the middle) and select "Inspect element". It gives you the direct link.Wow thats quite handy!!!!!
Too bad chrome is such a privacy risk! (I have heard it sends everything one does to google and I wouldnt be surprised if it did)
