Many people for the past 50 years have went, how can Robert Petrie, sleep in a different bed from a hot 25 year old Mary Tyler Moore (Laura). Well, I argue or is not that big of a deal.

I have been married for about 13 years to a beautiful woman. We have sometimes slept in the same bed together. Somewhat of a disaster. We do sleep together if we have to, I prefer not to, and I am the male.

Male, I snore, I also move around the bed and roll and roll and roll. She makes weird noises too, snores a bit.

We do not sleep well together. I like sleeping in my own bed. I do. When we want sex, we visit each other's bed. Pretty simple. Not a big deal. Does anyone else do this?

I am not mafrried but I can certainly undertand wanting to sleep alone in your own bed by yourself when it is time for you to go to sleep. For the reasons you mentioned and also for less hygenic reasons that you were discreet enough NOT to mention. What difference should the sleeping arrangements you and your wife have make to anyone else anyway.

I've been happily married for nine years, and we've just recently decided to switch from a queen bed to separate beds. My husband sleeps like a thrashing shark and I finally needed to get some quality rest. Now that we've tried it, we both are so much more content. We meet on his bed for couple-time, then I retreat to my own bed for slumber. :)
