yes im aware the colts were the first to introduce a cheerleading squad however thats not what im asking. lately I've been looking through photos of nfl cheerleaders and in older photos from the 50s/60s most squads are wearing long dresses or skirts. but in later photos the shorts and skirts get smaller & smaller:).

my question is when did the whole skimpy clothing for nfl cheerleaders start? I was born in the 90s and I've always found them more attractive in skimpy clothing but when did it start? someone told me with The Dallas Cowboys in the late 60s & someone else said with the raiders I the 70s

neither im just wondering when they first started wearing skimpy clothing. I was born in the 90s and grew up seeing them in tiny shorts and skirts and find them more attractive that way
