I have not seen it but hear some critics did not give it good marks. What did you guys think and is it worth buying on DVD?

The movie is okay. It's not great, but it's watchable. I like the cast. Lea Thompson, Walter Mathau and Joan Plowright all do good jobs in their roles and the kid they got for Dennis was also pretty good.

I think the problem is it's a little too much of a Home Alone clone, especially Christopher Lloyd's character who serves as the villain in some slap sticky sequences towards the end. If they toned that down a little it would have helped the picture.

It's worth checking out if you can find it for a cheap price. That's what I did.
