anyone here ever hear of a fear of eating in front of others? Our neighbor has that phobia and I never heard of it before.

I've heard of that. In fact when I was young I hated eating in front of people. I was very shy and insecure about myself for awhile.

How about this one? My daughter , who is a grown woman, will not go to the bathroom in a public bathroom if there is anybody else in there. She refuses! I don't know how she can hold it. :lol: She's always been like that. I would classify that as a phobia. I think all of us have something like that. I know I had/have my share of phobia's. They're hard to put aside!:(

I usually go into a stall if I can!! (Even if no one is in there)

I always use a stall too, but not because I have a phobia against urinals. It's because my disease has progressed to the point where it's hard to stand up.:(

I know a guy who won't eat in front of others. But it's because he has really BAD teeth and he gets embarrassed. It's not really a "fear" though.
