37 years ago billy was killed by his mother's boyfriend. Yesterday the mother's boyfriend was convicted of 2nd degree murder of the 18 month old. Thanks to Billy's then 3 year old sister who came forward he was convicted. If this story doesn't touch you, you must have a cold heart.

Why did his sister wait all that time to say something? That's creepy.

No it's not. She was probably too afraid to tell. That often happens in child abuse cases. The sisters of Carolyn McMorris witness Carolyn being beaten to death by their dad's girlfriend in 1955, but were too afraid to tell anybody until 1990.

The murdering boyfriend was sentenced to life. After everything that happened to her, witnessing Billy's murder, Billy's older sister is trying to move on. I admire her courage.

I agree with Janice that the sister should have come forwards long time ago. But better late than never, I suppose.
