JJ wasn't a good looking guy , but he was a nice guy, fun and a good personality.:D He always had a smile and was nice to people (except Thelma of course, usual brother/sister banter) . I was always attracted to a guy that is nice, and also kind of goofy! :D Of course it helps if he is hot looking too! :happyface

That episode where he and the drug addict girl eloped was intense! I remember the first time I saw it, I was like WOW!!!! When the purses got mixed up and Thelma found the drugs and needle!!!!!! :eek: And in the hotel when she was freaking out and needed to get high and escaped out of the window! :eek: Poor JJ!!! Still to this day when I watch that episode (2 parter) it is WOW!!!! :eek:

Somebody said that they knew Jimmie Walker's acting was bad when the show closed, and JJ was sitting, just staring at the phone with a dumb face. I thought it was brilliant acting. JJ was supposed to be in shock, so his expression relayed just that.

I thought JJ's acting was superb in that episode. I also thought the episode ended brilliantly. J.J. couldn't believe what had happened and that's why he was staring at the phone. He was completely dumbstruck.
