I am hoping that TVLAND purchases the rights to Room 222 so that they can start airing episodes, since seasons 3, 4 and 5 will not be released on DVD.

It would be nice. Too bad it'll never happen.

They have aired Everyone Loves Raymond and King of Queens for the last 5 years, I wish that they would go back to some retro shows like Room 222. But I think that they are focused on developing new sitcoms now. I wished that there were a streaming site like Hulu that would show all of the episodes of Room 222, but I guess since this series have been over for 40 years, there is not enough demand for it. As the Baby Boomers die off, this series will be forgotten. What a shame, because this was perhaps one of the best written sitcoms that I have ever seen, and many of the topics that they covered 40 years ago are still relevant today.

I haven't seen this show in probably 40 years. I wish someone would air it.

I would love that. Room 222 was a great show. I wish they would air a Friday night line up just like ABC did back in the early 70's.

Wasn't this one of the first shows that TV Land aired when they debuted?

Yes. It was also in local Syndication during the 70's, and USA Network during the 80's.

TV Land had Room 222 in their heyday in the late 90s, but even then didn't treat it with much respect. It mainly ran on weekends or in random themed marathons.
