And my life just got better! :) This doesn't make Dish good, but it certainly makes it less terrible.
TeeVeeCloset 06-01-2014, 10:55 AM It's COZI being broadcast on a local digital station, FeTV?.....somewhere someone had to make a mistake in the post......No new classic channel that would contain the exact line-up of COZI! C'mon guys!

I didn't make a mistake on my post. It is channel 82 on Dish
I have no idea what COZI is but FETV (Family Entertainment TV) has been around because my brother's children always watch Roy Rogers, Lassie, Highway to Heaven, The Lone Ranger, Fat Albert. FETV is not a new classic channel but they are adding a lot of classic shows to their lineup. http://fetv.wpengine.com/programming/
From their webpage: FETV provides the best of family-friendly entertainment combined with the best of popular faith-based programming. Research shows that this combination is particularly attractive to the millions of socially-conservative Americans who are looking for alternatives to TV shows and networks that downplay traditional American values.

I don't know if it's on Directv. My brother has Dish and while at his home this past weekend we saw the advertising on FETV for the new shows.
WHT must have added some more classic shows since we had it a few years ago. I remember they only aired one episode of Patty Duke one day per week back then.
MikeLutton 06-02-2014, 01:32 PM world harvest channel stil the same unfountely I wish it was like fe tv odd cause they have same shows. expect for a lot more.
Patty Duke 06-02-2014, 04:59 PM I checked to see if the new shows recorded on FETV channel 82 on Dish network and yes they did but this is odd..... They show the FETV logo at the top of the screen and on the lower screen it shows COZI. I took a screen shot of it.

Yes WHT And Family Entertainement have been around for years and they simply can make affliate deals with COZI just as the poster who said they used to get patty duke once a week and that was from a channel called This TV who also had rights to Mister Ed because it is owned by MGM, now they have The Addams Family. COZI is owned by NBC Universal/Comcast. Just a cheap way to get more exposure across the nation. No offense meant, us TV nuts just knew it was impossible for a new station to be running the exact programs as COZI has, so it had to be COZI. It is called "Cherry Picking" from a national available digital channel & program schedule.

I caught it by accident today for the first time and I have Dish Network.
It indeed had the FETV logo in the upper right corner and Cozi in the bottom right hand corner. Watched Charlie's Angels and then DVR'd back-to-back episodes of Make Room For Daddy. Looked ahead at the programming for the rest of today and tomorrow and it listed all the shows someone mentioned above.
Terrific news for me considering I have not seen a true nostalgic TV station since the demise of the formally awesome, Nick-at-Nite. TV Land is a joke. I can't get Me-TV, nor Antenna TV.
Makes me just as happy as when 6 "new" Ozzie & Harriet episodes turned up out of nowhere on RTV a year or so back. Not a one on the official releases, Disney package, the tired old public domain showings or even film transfers. None of my collector friends can figure out where they came from.
On the downside, it just makes me thirsty for more.
broadmoor 06-05-2014, 03:16 PM I just noticed I have Cozi-tv on an off-air subchannel. Nice little surprise. So, now I have both Me-tv and Cozi-tv.
Seems funny, because I now have a larger plate of vintage fare than I've had since I first resorted to getting a dish in 1996. I'd gotten that dish specifically to get TV-Land. But TV-Land went to pot within about five years or so. I still stuck with the dish, in the vain hopes some new 'vintage-oriented' channel would appear, but it never did. Finally dumped the dish after years and years of waiting and hoping. And here are two free, off-air networks, serving up a pretty decent variety of fare between them.
As ecstatic as I am over the whole tv-dvd advent, and the library of them that I've managed to accumulate, there is still something to be said for the old "impromptu" feeling of being able to actually turn on the tv at any odd hour of the day, and running into something pleasant and unexpected in the vintage vein. I've missed that curious feeling.
MrCleveland 06-05-2014, 09:28 PM I'm STILL wishing that my NBC affiliate WKYC would pick-up CoziTV real soon!
LUNCH 06-06-2014, 12:53 PM I'm also waiting for the affiliate here to pick up Cozi-tv.We do have Me and Antenna, but the more good classic tv channels, the better.
icecream 06-06-2014, 08:26 PM I'm also waiting for the affiliate here to pick up Cozi-tv.We do have Me and Antenna, but the more good classic tv channels, the better. You're lucky. I only have Antenna, and my affiliate preempts for sports.
Patty Duke 06-09-2014, 05:53 PM I looked at the COZI schedule and at FETV's list of shows. They are airing some of the programing from COZI but not all of it. I saw a commercial for a show that I would have loved to see but FETV airs paid programing and religious shows part of the time so we don't get it all.

I totally agree with that and I'm surprised more fans don't say something like that too.
LTCProductions 06-13-2014, 02:53 PM Attention: this channel is also available on AT&T Uverse channel 578.
MikeLutton 06-16-2014, 04:24 PM is this on Comcast xfinity any where
rodwayne 06-17-2014, 04:10 PM Yes,while it would be nice to get all of COZI T.V.line-up,I'm just glad to get some of the classics.I can't understand why there's no complete run of THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW;in other words, why they never start with MAKE ROOM FOR DADDY?Otherwise I'll have to be content with what's on.
Deecal102163 07-07-2014, 12:43 PM I absolutely love this channel! So many memories and great shows. Please, NO reality t.v..
