It has to be if Gilligan kept jumping in and falling in. I was wondering how they did that as well.

Gilligan's lagoon.. drained.. as it looked (retrofitted with a walkway and what looks like leftovers of a dock) mere days before demolition. It was 4ft deep, had the waterfall and, according to Bob Denver, was usually pretty rank on top of being really cold.

This really is a very cool picture of everyone in the lagoon!!! Only problem is the Professor is too far back for me to see that gorgeous face of his!!!

Those are ladders they are sitting on. I've seen ladders like that 12 feet and bigger. So the Lagoon could still be deeper than it looks. Most of the time the Lagoon was filthy so you couldn't tell how deep it really was.

Those are some great pictures of Gilligan's Island!

I Love these really old photos from when the show first started. 1963-1966 behind the scenes too. It's bonus material not even found on the DVDs. It appears Dawn lost her shoe and Russell is helping her so she doesn't fall off the raft into the water.

I saw this photo of the skipper with a phone on the island? And also the Professor on the phone while on Gilligan's Island. Perhaps as a joke, but definitely not in any episode that I recall. I'm not sure what that's about?

I love photos behind the scene on the set like this. I believe this is during the filming of the episode Season 3 "Man with a Net" A famed butterfly collector comes to the island in search of the rare "Pussycat Swallowtail," and the castaways try to help him find it so he will shoot his flare gun and rescue them.

These back stage videos are pretty cool. I don't remember any episode with multiple Gilligan's though?

I remember seeing an interview with Bob Denver awhile back when they filmed the episode from Season 2 'V for Vitamins'. The casting director was looking for a litle boy who looked like Bob Denver and tested many children but none looked like a little Gilligan. Bob said I have a son at home and he kept telling them " he looks just like me" and ignored him until they finally said ok, bring him in. And sure enough they cast his real son to play him.
