All my favorite TV shows are on haitus for the summer. All my sitcoms and dramatic series. Even Mad Men is off until next year. The only current show I like now is Fargo, which only has three episodes left in its limited run.
Honestly, I feel there is nothing on. I live as an American in China and I mainly use this to watch shows (not a Chinese site)

350 new TV shows, and frankly, none of them interest me besides Mad Men and Fargo which I have already seen. I might watch Small Town Security if I am desperate enough because it does elicit a chuckle or two. But damn, 347 shows I have no interest in? Wow, feel the pain.
Shouldn't the summer haitus model be retooled somewhat? If a series is going to be renewed, why not have new episodes in the summer months? It does not have to be as "busy" as fall or spring, maybe a new episode once or twice a month in June, July and August. These actors make enough money, so why not?
People always watch TV no matter the season. So why not?
I will say that I have made it through the summers because the cable networks and AMC and stuff like that has new weekly shows that get me through. Then there is always baseball!
For the record, You Tube is banned here, so that is not a relief. I do have access to a lot of movie sites, but basically I have the same problem, lots of films, but almost none I want to see because movies in my opinion just suck now. One film to recommend, "Nebraska". That is a good film.
So what to watch in my summertime drought. Should I just get a life?
