I never bought Gidget when it originally came out to DVD so when I saw the cheaper Mill Creek listing I decided to buy it because it was a lot more reasonably priced than the original one. I received the DVD set yesterday and found that all 3 discs are stacked on top of each other (not in paper sleeves) like they do with those Sony cheap complete series sets.


I know this is a budget company but this is ridiculous. I did not like when they used to put the DVDs in paper sleeves for other DVD sets but I at least understood that and the DVDs were much safer in sleeves as well.

Good warning. Thankfully, I got the original Gidget set cheap at Half Price Books.
So have you viewed the DVDs yet? Is the picture quality different than the original set? I know they don't have the Sally Field interview.
