Julia Collins -- who's already surpassed Arthur Chu -- is set to tie the second-longest streak in “Jeopardy!” history. She’s already the winningest female in the game show’s history.

It may be too difficult for her to beat Ken Jennings.

If I were in Julia Collins' position, I would not mind the lack of attention from news organizations.

Julia Collins’ winning streak has shown that a dominating player also makes for a banal game show.

She was barely a quarter of the way to Ken Jennings. Why would people pay attention to her? More angry feminists complaining they doesn't get preferential treatment. Jeopardy changed the rules not long before Ken Jennings made history. The first 40 or so years of the show you were retired after five wins.

we had some more female champions right now, but they won't beat Julia at all.
Molly LaLonde had 4 wins and Jennifer Blanton had 3 wins, some others like, Katie Frank, had 2 wins.

It has been in the news for several years that Jeopardy has been trying to skew categories towards women to try to get more women to win. That and the increasing pop culture references have diluted the quality of the show.

Today, we had a male contestant as a new champion, Howard Ray.

^I would have used the word "male" as an adjective for the word "contestant" if I were you since I don't like the idea of the words "man" and "woman" as adjectives.

Your correcting everyone's grammar in posts is really, really getting old. Can't you just leave well enough alone?

I did not mean to offend anyone and tried to be as friendly and helpful as possible with my previous message since I doubted anyone else would address any problems with the word "man" being used as an adjective for "contestant". If I had known someone would publicly express offense to my helping another user, I would have used private messaging to help that person instead. I may consider only using private messaging to address problems with grammar in the future.

If I were you I would not even consider private messaging. Just let the thread continue as it may without jumping in to correct peoples' grammar. It doesn't come across as helpful, it comes across as snarky and nitpicky.
