Did anyone see Ward Sutton's cartoon strip in the newspaper?. It was carried in the Boston paper. Might have gone national tool It was a updated 2014 Mother's Day with Beaver trying to give his mother a Mother's day card. I would like to put it here to see, but don't know if I can. Do I need permission from the cartoonist Ward?. Anyway it was good. Ward really can draw.

When I first read "Ward Sutton's" I thought of when Ward and June visited the Suttons in Beaver's Prize. June said that Ward didn't look like he was having a good time. He said: "It's hard to warm up to a guy who tells you how much money he made last year." June: Don't you think he made that much. Ward: I know he did that's what burns me."

1. Well there is a store that Ward mentions in The Younger Brother about Beaver getting new "tennis" shoes called Fosters....Julie Foster.

2. Larry was going to run away to Africa and join the French Foreign Legion.

3. I know Beaver mentions them in Beaver Makes a Loan but can't think right now. Maybe a baseball glove.

4. Larry's parakeet was called Eagle so he wouldn't be afraid.

5. All his army men, a USA bank he can't get open some CO2 cartridges. That was a cute exchange between Beaver and Larry.
