I think in the final two season the show just did not do as much for me. it was because of all the lower class people who were coming on. first it was theo and his lowe class kids he was teaching. I even liked that a bit but it seemed the show was leaving the regular family based episodes to work on that. they should have just tried to spin him off. but then Pam and her friends started coming on. several of the final episodes were either about Pam's friends and theo's children. Vanessa was only on for maybe two or three episodes.
I think it's just because the kids were older and it was hard to keep it a family based show. even Rudy decided to go for the poor kid over kenny who obiously would have loved to be with her and was part of the family.
I hope the reunion will be Rudy marrying kenny. they belonged together.

The reunion is a retrospective. The cast will get together to discuss the series and clips will probably be shown from past episodes. The reunion won't be like The Facts of Life reunion where the characters interact.
As far as I know, that's what the reunion will be like.
Yeah, towards the end of the show's run it got very crowded in the Huxtable house, with Claire and Cliff's kids, the various relatives and stepkids and grandkids...
That's the problem with family sitcoms, eventually the kids grow up, lose the whole cuteness factor, and they actually have to start writing stuff for them to do. When that fails, they seem to think "the more the merrier" so they pile on more relatives, or to bring back the cuteness, have grandkids or a new baby thrown into the mix.

I heard somewhere "And 2 Cosby Show reunions" could have been a dream and maybe not...............My guess is they'll be the retrospective and if it's true a movie.

I think it started going downhill after the season that "Cockroach" was in a lot ended.... It went WAAAY down when Claire's Second-cousin or whatever and that other girl came in.... This is also what happened with "Designing Women", they got some new characters, and the show just stopped...

Yeah, the show was at it's best from seasons 1-6. For some reason I find the 4th season rather boring. But then the 5th season picked back up. There is one episode in particular though in the 7th season that was SOOOOOOO funny. When Claire is going through menopause, and Vanessa, Theo, and Pam think she's gonna go crazy. Then Cliff and Claire decide they wanna have some fun. Man that episode is sooo funny. I kinda liked Pam and her Friends, but I felt as though they didn't belong on The Cosby Show. They should've been put on A Different World.
