TBS Cancels "The Pete Holmes Show"

TBS has canceled "The Pete Holmes Show" after two seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The late-night show, which followed "Conan", averaged 500,000 viewers, losing more than 350,000 viewers from its lead-in. The series will go off the air on June 19.



"We recognize Pete as one of the most relevant comedians working today," TBS said in a statement. "We loved the show and gave it two chances. We just couldn't draw the audience needed to justify a third round. We hope we'll get to work with him again."

This is the second post-"Conan" show to get canceled by TBS. In 2011, the network axed George Lopez's "Lopez Tonight" after two seasons.

I only watched it a couple of times and didn't really care for it much.

The should give me a shot I'd interview the actors from classic tv shows and have up and coming comedians, with the hotest bands.
