Here are a couple of articles from TV Guide's Canadian website regarding the Canadian networks attending last week's US upfronts presentations focusing on not only which new series they might add to their fall schedules but also how they will fill in the various holes in their daily lineups. This problem is further complicated by CBS having Thursday night football for Sept. and Oct. and Rogers gaining the rights to NHL hockey in prime time starting next season:

The second article deals with how the networks scored with their new series at last year's upfronts. Looking at the details more closely, it seems that City and Global fared poorly, especially with their new sitcoms, while CTV looks to be in very good shape and should have no trouble remaining at #1 among the major Canadian networks, including CBC which, as usual, decided to take a pass on the upfronts:

Full fall 2014 details to follow in June. Stay tuned.
