Rachel Bilson and her longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen are expecting their first child together, according to Us Weekly.

"They've both talked about this for a while and are so excited," a source told the magazine. "Everyone is beyond thrilled for them."

The "Hart of Dixie" actress met Christensen on the set of Jumper in 2007 and they got engaged in 2008. The couple split in 2010 before getting back together three months later.

Bilson admitted to Cosmopolitan last May that she was seriously considering becoming a mom. "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future — I hope," Bilson said.

He's busy being a family man

If there's one area in Christensen's life where he's killing it, it's in his relationships with his girlfriend of many years, O.C. star Rachel Bilson, and their daughter, Briar Rose. Christensen reportedly met Bilson while working on the movie Jumper. According to E! Online, the couple got engaged in December 2008. Their engagement was called off in August 2010; however, they reconciled three months later. They welcomed Briar Rose in October 2014.

So far, Christensen seems to be making the most of parenting. "I have this little angel in my life now and Rachel and I are so thrilled," he told E! Online in 2015. "We don't sleep as much as we used to, but it's all so worth it." Oh, and his favorite part about parenting?" "Everything," he says.

If that wasn't adorable enough, in 2016, Bilson posted this photo to Instagram of Christensen blowing bubbles for their daughter, which even the Grinch-iest of hearts has to admit is freaking adorable. For her part, Bilson has had nothing but lovely things to say about her partner of many years in the press. "He's so incredibly supportive and considerate …" she told Health magazine. I've been in my relationship for seven years, so we've grown up together in a way. This is my partner, my support, just there for me no matter what. And vice versa." With that kind of love, who needs Hollywood?
