I must've missed something, I've been eating Big Macs for many years and never noticed a change in the sauce.

I used to like going to fast food restaurants in general until they started putting whipped creams and cherries on all their shakes. Now if I want one, I'll just make mine at home. And if I go to McDonalds or any other fast food joint, I'll order a soda with my meal instead.

Hopefully so but maybe you cant tell a difference Zoneboy but I sure can! (I could instantly when they first changed it :()

I'm sure I'd be able to tell the difference after eating them over 40 years if the sauce was as watered down as you claim it is. I always order mine with no cheese or onions and extra sauce and I've been doing it that way for over 25 years. Without cheese and onions, it leaves more room to taste the sauce.

Never noticed the difference, but yeah...many qualities in fast food IS waning...even some people have said that KFC chicken doesn't taste as good as it did before.

I'd like to bring bak that Filet O'Fish!

The name of the post is misleading, I thought it was going to show the actual menu from 1972.

I used to love the Big Mac but then they started cutting down on the sauce and it started tasting like a regular hamburger. I haven't had one in about 20 years.

I actually prefer the Big King at BK over the Big Mac.

I'm tempted to make a REAL Big Mac...

But where can I find the burger buns that McDonald's uses?

To the people oohing over the prices, it kind of balances out. Sure, you could get a full Quarter Pounder meal(burger, fries, and soda for about $1.62(including tax), but people were also getting paid $2.00 per hour back then...If you worked 8 hours, that was only $16.00. Think about it. You just worked about 1 hour to afford the meal....

If I am going to buy a fast burger, it would be Carl's or In n Out and I bought the kids meal for my little one to get her to eat.....and the toy in the meal box.

I preferred the original style milkshakes too. Used to get the extra large size, I think there was almost 2000 calories in one of those. lol!

DAMN

I haven’t eaten McDonald’s in a while, but it looks like they and Burger King are trying to compete with the fried chicken fast food restaurants with the new chicken sandwiches.

No way I’m having that high sh*t now.

What I do when I get a Carl's, I customize it. "Hold the salt, and add this, light dressing etc, and often ask for bun to be toasted. They are accommodating, otherwise the burgers are loaded with salt.
