(Ralph is sitting at the kitchen table all sad.)

Ralph: "Just think Alice. The Nets now have to stretch this series to a game 7 if they want to advance to the third round."

Alice: "I know how you must feel Ralph. But Ralph, the Nets still have a chance to bring a title to Brooklyn."

Ralph: "You are right there Alice. The Nets will of course play right near an area with the greatest crowds in the world...Miami Beach."

(Crowd cheers.)

Ralph: "I want to be part of this area when the Nets win the NBA title. I want to see this whole town explode with excitement. This whole town is loaded with Nets fans. As a matter of fact, I will talk to the pizzeria and have him spell 'Go Nets' with anchovies on pizzas."

Alice: "Don't you think that is a little too much?"

Ralph: "Of course not Alice. You don't think like me."

Alice: "Oooooh, that is true."

Ralph: "Never mind that. I know that the Nets will win. I have enough confidence in me for the both of us."

Alice: "You got enough of EVERYTHING in you for the both of us."

Ralph: "Ooooh, BANG! ZOOM!"

(Ed comes down. Crowd applauds.)

Ed: "Ralph, I just saw the game Ralph. Don't let it get you down Ralph just because the Nets are on their last legs."

(Ralph gets visably upset.)

Ed: "Don't be sad just because the Nets have got to win the next three games."

(Ralph gets even more visably upset.)

Ed: "Don't be upset that Miami has outperfomed them in all but one game and don't get upset that we may NEVER see the Nets bring a title to Brooklyn, NY and that another team..."

Ralph (yells): "GEEEEEEEET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT! GET OUT!"

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Crowd applauds.)

Jackie: "As I said, the Miami Beach audiences are the BEST in the WORLD! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Crowd cheers.)
