You know if Clay Aiken won Season 2 and Kimberley Locke was season 2's runner-up, then this show would not die down too quick.
Ruben winning season 2 was let down on both this show and the entire FOX network.
I think Ruben wanted money, not only desperately, in a greedy way!

irehtman, just get over it already! Seriously.
Yes I think singing/music competitions are on the way out. For better or worse the novelty has worn off.
But I partly blame the networks for putting on so many of them. People have gotten tired of it.
