I am most like Bobbie Jo. However, I am more like Bobbie Jo when Pat Woodell is playing her than when Lori Saunders is playing her. Pat Woodell's Bobbie Jo is bookish, quiet, introverted, and intelligent. She is more interested in reading and learning things than in going on dates or doing other things. That is me. I love reading and learning. I am quiet and introverted, and somewhat intelligent I guess, LOL. Now, I don't like poetry like she did. I prefer history and biography, but we are still similar in interests and temperament. Lori Saunders' Bobbie Jo was more outgoing, more boy crazy, and slightly dingy and even goofy at times. As much as I love Lori Saunders, overall I prefer Pat Woodell's portrayal of Bobbie Jo.
Even with Lori Saunders playing her, I'm still the most like Bobbie Jo. I am nothing like Billie Jo. Billie Jo is the one that I am the least similar to. The only things we have in common is that we are both the oldest and both have blonde hair. That's it. In no other way am I like Billie Jo. Of course that depends on who is playing her too I guess. Jeanine Riley and Gunilla Hutton played the role similarly, and I'm not even close to being like that. Meredith MacRae played her as more career-minded than boy crazy and ditzy, which I am career-minded. Still, Meredith MacRae was my least favorite Billie Jo. She was nothing like the other two, and I don't like her in the role.
I do have some things in common with Betty Jo. I love dogs like she did. The dog started out as her dog before becoming the family dog. We are just alike on that. I also like outdoor activities like her. I was somewhat of a tom boy growing up. As a young kid, I did play softball. However, as a teenager and now as an adult I am not at all interested in sports. I also don't know anything about fixing machinery or cars and certainly wouldn't be able to drive the Cannonball, LOL.
