I feel that there should be some game shows that were on in our yesteryears...I feel that "What's my Line", "Scrabble", "Concentration", and "Name that Tune" to name a few could be a few game shows that could be revived.

Chuck Woolery could be the host again for "Scrabble", Guy Fieri could be the host for "Concentration", Brad Sheerwood for "What's My Line" (I dunno who'd be the recurring celebrities), and David Lee Roth as the host of "Name That Tune".

What Game shows would you wish they'd resurrect?

Press Your Luck/Whammy.

I also agree with the person who said "Supermarket Sweep."

Anyone remember Eye Guess? Wasn't that one of the five thousand shows Bill Cullen hosted?

I say, The Match Game

The last few attempts at a reboot proved that Match Game just isn't the same without Gene Rayburn.

....not to mention Brett, Richard, Charles, and some of the other semi-regulars. But Betty is still around!!!!!!:)

I'd like to see Cash Cab and Deal or Not Deal again.

Ben Bailey could do either show. He was a funny host on Cash Cab.

listen I know Match Game would never work in this day and age since it's life support was cut off since 1999, but if an MG revival it was still the 90s I would've like to see either Jim Carrey or David Alan Grier from In Living Color as host for the show.

just saying.

A better revival of Press Your Luck.

I assume that you hated Whammy! thanks to the crash test dummies at Lazymedia for "F"-ing up the show.

I wouldnt mind seeing a revival of Match Game. How bad could a revival be? I mean if you keep with the intitial premise of the show, it would be fine.

I liked it at first, but over time I started hating it.

was it the gameplay, 3d whammies or Todd Newton's Yelling that made you stop liking it?

you know in Australia, they have a similar problem like us here in the states with Blankety Blanks starring Graham Kennedy running from 1977-1978 despite having two seasons, it became popular nonetheless while the other two revivals were abysmal to overcome the popularity from Kennedy's reign with Daryl Somers from 1985-1986 and Shane Bourne from 1996-1997

so in other words I think that both our franchise and their's in the land down under are kind of oppositely equal to each other since Graham Kennedy is engrained in their minds like Gene Rayburn has engrained in ours.

One game show that I felt that should be revived for years is College Bowl. The popularity of Jeopardy shows that viewers would appreciate another "hard quiz" show.

I think Name That Tune is a good choice for a game show revival. I'd also like to see Match Game, Rock And Roll Jeopardy, (I know it's probably just me!), :D and Hollywood Squares brought back.

To me any classic game show revival that Fremantle owns will be butchered to the high heaven if not done the right way of course.
