Fox Cancels "Dads", "Surviving Jack" & "Enlisted"

Fox cleaned the comedy deck today, pulling the plug on freshman series "Dads", "Enlisted" and "Surviving Jack".

This leaves "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" as the only freshman Fox comedy to make it to second season.



Military-comedy "Enlisted" had received pretty decent reviews, but was mired with dismal ratings.

It wasn't given a fair shake by being slotted outside of Fox’s Tuesday comedy block. "Enlisted" got the Friday time period where it never had a chance.

Enlisted was my new favorite show. I knew it wouldn't last long. For one thing it was on Friday nights and the other thing...it was on Fox. A deadly combo. I hope the full season is put out on DVD and in the correct episode order. Oh, that's another thing they love to air episodes out of order. :rolleyes:

Oh well. It will be missed by me. :(

I'd never heard of the show 'Enlisted', it must have been pretty bad but I am glad that 'Dads' is getting cancelled.

Is 'Surviving Jack' the one with Christopher Meloni? man that sucks since he was on the radio station KROQ talking about it a few weeks ago.

They should have moved Enlisted to Dads timeslot.

I wonder if they're going to show the remaining un-aired episodes.

I don't know what the heck FOX was thinking, Surviving Jack was actually funny.

This sitcom needs rebooting.
