CBS has made no official word on a Season 5 or a Blu-Ray set.

I wouldn't want to see a blu-Ray set, as it is the regular season 4 dvds played on my blu-ray player show how bad the make up was and how badly Mrs. Drysdale's teeth were. Not pretty.

I want all the seasons released on DVD but I have no interest in buying them on Blu-ray. I love TBH but DVD is fine for me with this show.

I'm with you's guys. I could care less about blu ray Hillbillies. I want the rest of the series released on the already excellent looking DVDs. You can't improve perfection and Blu ray hillbillies is a waste of time. All efforts at CBS should be concentrated on releasing the REST of the series on DVD.

At this point I would just like them to release the entire series as a package one way or the other.

^^This

Seasons 5-9 have some great gems of episodes.

Unless the BR release is the complete series. From remastered 35mm negatives, I'd buy the BR set on day one.

Looks like this was bologna. They can't even get the series released on DVD must less on Blu-ray.

TBH was the longest-running among the 1960s Henning "family" of series (along with Petticoat Junction & Green Acres) -- ironically maybe that fact is working against its complete DVD release, despite its great success.

Another CBS frontrunner, long-running My Three Sons, stalled after just 2 seasons on DVD, and those were still its ABC years.

Regarding TBH, I think everything from the Biddle Bird Watchers to those gorgeous Commerce Bank secretaries is worthy of DVDs -- the show still had spark until about the final season.
