I don't got encore channels or any premium channels wish I did not my call but any word on Diff'Rent Strokes season 5 through 8 being released miss this show.a lot

Nope. It looks like Shout Factory gave up on this one unfortunately. I hear Mill Creek got the rights to it now. At the moment they only have the rights to the previously released seasons as with the other shows they are rereleasing as well, but I hope they can get the rights to the rest of them as well.

that sucks I got 1 through 4 I need 5 through 8 how long does it take to release remaining seasons mill creek do good if we did not have money issues ibe watching it on encore right now.

I'll give Mill Creek credit for one thing- they're VERY fast with their releases, so if they're able to complete it they will do that extremely quick. If they're able to finish releasing all of it they should be able to get it finished by this time next year if not sooner I'd suspect.

hope so 5 and 6 got best episodes on there I want see them on dvd really bad hope it be soon

Bilko, and now The Jeffersons), I suspect it will be a matter of time before a Diff'rent Strokes Complete Series set is released. Then Mill Creek can probably release the individual seasons separately.

I was thinking the same thing.

I would like a complete series set of DS but I've been recording them from encore so it's not on the top of my want list now.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want this show completed. Really sad that it isn't.

Seasons 5 and 6 are 2 of my favorite seasons. I hope they come out some day soon.

I have recently been using an online streaming program called Kodi and am using an addon called Exodus to find movies and TV shows. I found Diff'rent Strokes on there and it had all the seasons. The later ones were recorded off BET in 2008. What I found interesting is it had cover art for all the seasons, including the unreleased ones. I'm guessing Sony had them all designed at the beginning and may have originally planned to release them all but never did. Anyways, here's what they look like.

Its a bummer it hasnt been released, I have been waiting for years. Fortunately I was able to capture Seasons 5-8 uncut from Encore. It also includes the episode from Season four (uncut) that was edited on the DVD

Good news! Season 5 is coming April 4. They've changed the cover from what's seen here so maybe these were rough drafts.
