A few months ago I discovered this British mystery -- with comic overtones.

Death In Paradise is filmed on a Caribbean island and is a wonderful show.

Is anyone else watching??

3rd season just came out but they replaced the main character

The new inspector will take some getting use to for viewers.

However I am still enjoying the stories and the scenery.

And Death In Paradise has been renewed for a fourth season!

I really like this show. I've been watching it for the last two seasons. I like the second detective better than the first, but they're both really good. The scenery is the best part of the show.

The second detective played the oldest son in a Britcom called My Family. It was kind of a predictable show, but it was still entertaining.

I've seen it & it's well better than New Tricks and Scott & Bailey

I'll watch just about anything British on PBS nowadays. I know, I'm such a snob.... So there's a good chance I'd have eventually watched this even if it didn't star Cat from Red Dwarf. I like Death In Paradise. I'd rank it about in the middle of British detective shows. Richard Poole > Humphrey, though.

Just read that Death In Paradise has been renewed for a fifth season which will air in the USA in 2016. :)

Right now I'm enjoying the fourth season on my PBS station.

And I'm liking the new detective much better.
