I think Good times would have lasted for several seasons had John Amos stayed. Frankly, I'm surprised the show lasted any amount of time after his departure, and during the time Esther Rolle was gone for a year or so, I'm surprised they didn't cancel it right then and there.

If I had to guess I'd say about nine seasons from 1974-1982.
