(Ralph is getting ready for work. He sticks his head out the window.)

Ralph (yells): "NORTON! COME ON DOWN! LET'S GO TO WORK TOGETHER."

(Ralph goes back inside.)

(Ed comes on down...dressed as the Easter Bunny. The crowd applauds.)

(Ralph turns around.)

Ralph (yells): "GAAAAAAAH! WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH YOU? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK OR SOMETHING? WHAT IS WITH THAT GET UP?"

Ed: "Ralph, Sunday is Easter. I felt like getting into the holiday spirit."

Ralph: "The holiday spirit? If you go down the sewer in that, people are going to examine you. Let's go."

(They leave. As Ralph is walking and Ed is hoping, Ralph is three feet behind Ed because he is embarrssed to be with him.)

Ralph: "What are you doing for Easter?"

Ed: "Oh, Trixie has me going to her parents for the holiday. I'm going to miss the hockey game."

Ralph: "Me too. Alice has me going to her parents for Easter. I am going to miss the Rangers game too. I complained about it and hollered about it."

Ed: "Yeah, you had the whole building awake."

Ralph: "I was that loud?"

Ed: "That loud? I heard that the people working down the sewer heard you."

Ralph: "I just wish this Easter was as fun as they were when I was a kid."

Ed: "Me too. I lived getting those chocolate bunnies as a kid. I took care of it and petted it. Then it got so ugly, I had to eat it."

Ralph: "Well, maybe Easter at our in-lawas won't be so bad. It's better than being alone."

Ed: "You got that right Ralph. You got think positive. You got to smile."

Ralph: "Yeah."

Ed: "You got to smile even though her mother-in-law is mean to you. Even if she is a blabbermouth. Even if she criticizes your weight..." (as Ralph has getting a meaner face): "...Even if she criticizes that you are not as good as a provider as your brother-in-laws. Even if she critzies you about your hare-brained-get-rich-quick ideas. Even if she critizes you for being a bus driver..."

Ralph (yells): "ALL RIGHT NORTON! PUT 'EM UP! PUT 'EM UP!"

(Ralph chases after Ed who hops.)

Ed (yells): "DON'T HURT THE BUNNY."

(The crowd tries to calm them down.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. Happy Easter to everyone and the Miami Beach Easters are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
