I read they were bringing back Luke and Leia. If so there is an opportunity to bring back Padme as well. Not in the flesh. We know she died in ep3. I mean a cameo of her force image like obi wan was. Suppose Luke n Leia got help from the force so they could meet her? Just an idea that might be liked by the fans. I think Natalie Portman is still young enough to reprise the character and make her believable. For that matter they could bring back Hayden as well to reprise the young Anakin.

Slow down, flying dutchman, I don't want to let Luke lose control seeing what Padme looks like, even if she is a ghost and I don't want the same thing for Leia to see what Anakin looks like at the same time.

I just read that Leia and Han Solo are already married and also Luke has a new wife named Mara Jade. But I hope that Mara Jade character should better look like a beautiful SHORT-haired type of wife, no offense, IMO!

We better make sure that the Mara Jade character has been declared officially true and then she should look like a short-haired type of wife of Luke, no offense.

At this point, I think it's just rumoured, but it's still a reasonable expectation that Mara Jade might show up, since she is Luke's wife in the books. I don't know how she would be portrayed in the movie if she appeared, but from her appearances in novels and video games thus far, she doesn't have short hair- she usually wears it long. As far as I know, she's always had long red hair- you can see some pictures here.
