Has anyone else been watching?

I'm assuming probably not because of the horrible time slot NBC has put it in. I've been DVR-ing and enjoying this awesome private detective mystery/comedy since NBC started airing it. The problem is it airs Sunday mornings at some random time between 1:48am and 2:42am, depending on whether they air Extended Play or infomercials before it. :mad:

it reminds me a little of the Rockford Files, just the grittiness and tinge of character-based humor, with the main character being a ne'er-do-well anti-hero.

Republic of Doyle airs on your NBC affiliate but it's a syndicated show. In my market (Fort Wayne) it airs on my CBS affiliate Sunday nights at 11:35PM (later if there's sports overruns).

I agree that it has a Rockford vibe. It comes on here in NYC Sunday mornings at 2:00 am. I like watching to see how many of the Canadian actors I know.
