Kelly McCreary is relocating to another corner of Shondaland.

The actress, who recurred on "Scandal" as Harrison’s passport-forging pal Clare (at least until her untimely demise this week), is set to guest-star on this season’s penultimate episode of "Grey’s Anatomy", TVLine has learned exclusively.



She will play a surgeon who has a flirty bar date with a male doctor who shall remain nameless.

Her episode is slated to air on May 8.

Apparently Dr. Maggie Pierce will be sticking around Grey Sloan Memorial for now. Actress Kelly McCreary has been promoted to a series regular on "Grey's Anatomy", TVGuide.com has learned.

Maggie — who's the daughter of Ellis Grey and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) and half-sister to Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) — was introduced last season and McCreary has guest-starred in every episode of Season 11 thus far.
