Hello everyone,

Last Saturday, to be exact, game show legend Wink Martindale (via his NEW YouTube page at http://youtube.com/user/winkmartindalegames) posted a clip from a pilot taped on July 30, 1987 for an Adult version of the Nickelodeon game show "Double Dare," hosted by Bruce Jenner.

The pilot IS NOT to be confused with the "Celebrity Double Dare" pilot, which Bruce ALSO hosted, featuring Scott Baio & Heidi Bohay played with civilian adult contestants.

From what little I saw of the YouTube clip Wink posted of THIS pilot, 2 couples would have competed against each other for an Obstacle Course worth a grand prize total of $25,000 for both couples.

Personally, I'd LOVE to see THIS episode posted in full--AND even asked Wink himself to do the honors; unfortunately for me, Wink's social media guy, John, wrote me back and stated that they DON'T post full episodes on Wink's YouTube channel for reasons he wouldn't elaborate on (otherwise, I'd tell you myself why), but that there MAY come a time when they MAY post full content for fans to vote for what they want to see in full--to which I'll DEFINITELY vote to see the "Double Dare" pilot.
