wb and upn networks because WB comedies were poorly organized and UPN dramas are appraising the dark sides.

At this point, all of them, really... apart from Turner Classic Movies, Encore Westerns and (if we're including digital sub-channels in this) MeTV, all three which still do what they originally set out to do, and offer decent variety.
I remember, back in the 1980s & 1990s, when I was excited to get Nick@Nite, TV Land, TNT, A&E, Bravo, Sci-Fi, BBC-America, Comedy Central, Chiller (in the 2000s), Sleuth (ditto, now called 'Cloo', though it was actually dead right out of the gate), Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Trio (now extinct), Fox Movie Channel, American Movie Classics, IFC... now, except for a few acclaimed dramas on the otherwise-worthless F/X and AMC (plus a couple I rent a year after their debuts on HBO and Showtime) it's a bleak video vista indeed.
Too many reality shows.
Too many reruns of reality shows.
Too many commercials.
Too many infomercials.
Too many of the same small handful of older series that have already been played to death.
Too many movie slots on non-movie channels that are always filled by either the same small bunch of overplayed hit movies from no more than 5-10 years ago, or really crappy 'originals', like the SyFy Saturday night creature features, or the 1001+ bland Christmas and/or love stories, ground out regularly like sausage, by Hallmark and ABC Family.
Too many niche and special interest channels morphing into general interest channels, so that they all become clones of one another to attract the same audience of 18-to-34-year-olds, who aren't even interested in most TV anymore, since they text, stream and game, instead.
Too many 'marathon' blocks of single series (doesn't matter what show... old or new, good or bad), so that one network runs a total of just 3 or 4 series a day (or a week)... so much for variety.
--Which is why I'm glad I have a huge personal collection of TV and movies to draw from, with Netflix (streaming and discs) and Roku streaming channels as complimentary options.

Oprah Winferey Network
NMTV (MTV)
TRC (TLC)
SighFy (SyFy)
I'm sooooo glad that I don't own cable anymore, why have stations that show quantity of reality shows than quality of TV Shows that mean something?
