There are essentially two reasons why I am starting a thread on this page regarding this movie. To start with, the thread that I started close to an hour ago has five views and zero replies. In any attempt to stimulate some conversation about this fine series, I would like to mention that the movie "Hotel For Dogs" came out in 2009 which was five years ago. Has anyone reading this thread ever seen this film. I believe that the book that it was based on was written sometime in the seventies. I read it in 1984 when I was fifteen years old. I thought it was an okay read. In my opinion, the people who wrote the script for the movie really took the plot of the book and bent it into a pretzel! Wow! In any event, when I first started to see previews for this movie, there is one thing about it that really excited me. The thing that I am writing about is that one of the people playing one of the supporting roles in this movie was Lisa Kudrow! I think that she is quite a babe! True fans of "Mad About You" know that, in the early years, Lisa played Ursala the waitress at the restaurant that Paul and Jamie would frequent. Having recently looked over the credits for "Hotel for Dogs", I read that the first name of Lisa Kudrow's character was Lois. I wonder if this is in recognition of Lois Duncan who wrote the book that the movie was based on.
